‘Our Great Britain’ Christmas Show Tickets

As I’ve had so many people requesting tickets for the Christmas Show & Party already, I thought I’d confirm that emails will be sent out the week before half term with all details.  Wristbands will be available from the day the email is sent.  I may need to restrict numbers this year as, even though we’re in a much bigger premises, the Dance School has grown so much! icon smile Our Great Britain Christmas Show Tickets

We are honoured to be asked, for the second year running, to supply performers for the opening of Waddesdon Manor at Christmas. This year’s theme is Italy…!

Everyone should have now received an email detailing all audition info, rehearsal schedule and performance info.  Let me know if you have any questions.

I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday at Buckingham Park from 10.30-11.30!

(Boys and girls aged 6+ are eligible to audition).

Goodbye & Good Luck Georgie

It is with much sadness that I must inform you that our Teaching Assistant Georgie Smith, has taken the decision to leave the Dance School.  Georgie is off to University in September and wants to focus on this new chapter in her life.

Georgie was a pupil at Kandeez from the age of 15 and has helped out in our classes for the last couple of years.  Her support, dedication and love of dancing and Kandeez has never faltered and she has helped shape the Dance School into the success it is today.

I know Georgie will be hugely missed by everyone, especially me.  She has been an incredible member of staff and wonderful friend.  Good luck in everything you do Georgie.  I know your future is a bright one.  Come back and see us soon.

A word from the Principal…

Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a wonderful festive season and that you are looking forward to what 2011 has in store.

2010 was an excellent year for Kandeez - our pupils took part in:

*  Two exam sessions, gaining 98% Honours and 2% Commended overall.
*  Several competitions, including the ISTD National Grand Finals Day, bringing home over 100 trophies.
*  Eight displays including 2 Kandeez Talentz days in Aylesbury Town Centre.
*  Performances with the English Youth Ballet.
*  Panto at the new Waterside Theatre.
*  Waddesdon Manor at Christmas.

2011 stands to be an even better year for Kandeez and we already have many events in the pipeline.  There will also be some positive changes made to the Dance School this year.  Some of these have already taken place and some are yet to come!  I will shortly be adding a feedback button to the website so you can tell us what you think we’re doing well and what we need to improve upon.

Thank you for your support during 2010 and I look forward to welcoming you all back to class from Monday.

Michelle
